Magazine Cover Analysis The masthead of this magazine is ‘Allure’. Allure is a beauty-centered magazine, whilst also covering other aspects of life like wellness and shopping. This type of magazine targets woman, especially with the beauty aspect which is reinforced through their covers. The magazine includes soft, neutral colours of blue, white, gray and black. These softer colours will also target a female audience. The cover includes 3 fonts, with large text in the center of the cover and smaller text to the side. The main image is of artist and actress, Ariana Grande, which will help to target her fan base. The smaller text just under the masthead gives us her name; this will once again help to target fans of her music and beauty products. The cover line of ‘best of beauty turns 25’ will once again help to target her fans, whilst also making it clear that this magazine is centered around her beauty career, rather than her musical career.
